The next project I took on was a youtube tutorial titled Beginner hard surface modelling (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phPp5oYnps0).
This is essentially modelling an object that I have since learned is called a “Cylinoid”. I also spent an inordinately long time doing this model. Learning is like that. I also did about 14 versions of this model as I had problems I didn’t know how to resolve and had to back up and try again. Or just things didn’t work the way they were shown, and I had to step back because I missed a keystroke or was in the wrong mode or something that was easy to miss.
SO, here is a couple of versions of the hard surface Cylinoid.
